Submersible Tiltmeter (MEMS)
The RST Tiltmeter is designed to measure tilt in two axial planes perpendicular to the gravity vector. The Tiltmeter is designed for long-term monitoring with maximum resolution and sensitivity and is suitable for manual monitoring or remote data acquisition.
The system consists of adjustable universal mounting brackets that can be installed vertically, horizontally, or at an angle, an interconnecting cable, and a data logger or readout unit. The enclosure is rated IP68 to 2 MPa for maximum resistance to water ingress. Cables are securely sealed inside the enclosure using watertight connectors, ensuring a watertight seal when submerged to depths of up to 200 metres. Busable and non-busable versions are available for daisy-chain and single-point installations.
