  • Trillium Cascadia

Trillium Cascadia combines the proven Trillium Compact Posthole with the Class A Titan Posthole in a single instrument. This dual-purpose sensor with an ultra-wide dynamic range measures both strong and weak motion without any disruption to normal operation. Proper deployment is virtually effortless with one hole, one connector, one cable, and two co-located sensors.

The new Cascadia gives you confidence that your strong-motion and weak-motion instruments are of equally high quality and feature wide dynamic range overlap. Cascadia maximizes the scientific return on your investment by providing the richest possible dataset for near-field studies. When recording strong motion, the instruments also serve as a valuable source of weak-motion data that helps calibrate and train event detection algorithms, while benefiting the broader seismological community.

    Highly Integrated Station Solution

Trillium Cascadia is optimized for use with our well-known Centaur digital recorder. Using Cascadia with Centaur allows easy configuration of both sensors through the Centaur web interface. You will have full access to extended sensor state information, including sensor tilt, temperature, and more. The digital bubble level in the Centaur graphical user interface simplifies downhole alignment and allows you to check leveling at any time after the instrument has been installed (buried)
